Kade Villa Grou’s living room and dining area offer stunning lake views, creating a peaceful and light-filled space to relax. The fully equipped kitchen is conveniently located next to the laundry room and opens onto a charming square with views of the historic Sint Piter Church.

• One bedroom with a queen-size bed and lake view

• One bedroom with two single beds and lake view

• A third bedroom with two single beds overlooking the square

The spacious, bright bathroom includes a double sink, toilet, shower, and bathtub.​

Enjoy scenic routes along waterways and green meadows, or follow sections of the famous Elfstedentocht (Eleven Cities) cycling route. Nearby towns including Leeuwarden, Sneek, Dokkum, and Harlingen are also well worth a visit. Small sailboats and motorboats are available for rent at the nearby docks.

About Grou

Grou (Dutch: Grouw) is a town in the province of Fryslân, with approximately 5,655 residents as of January 2017. Since 2014, Grou has been part of the municipality of Leeuwarden.

The town is located on Pikmeer Lake and the Prinses Margriet Canal. Grou previously served as the capital of the municipality of Idaarderadeel and later Boarnsterhim until municipal reorganizations in 1984 and 2014. The town celebrates Sint-Piter Day on February 21, a unique local tradition distinct from the rest of the Netherlands.
