Waterfront Kade Villa Grou


This beautiful 3 bedroom villa is nestled in the heart of quaint Frisian village Grou, directly on the Pikmeer Lake with access to Princess Margriet Canal and the waterways of the northern province of the Netherlands and the Ijselmeer.


Kade Villa Grou’s living room and dining area have gorgeous views of the lake, the fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to the laundry room and has access to a lovely square with a view of the ancient Sint Piter Church.

Grou (In Dutch: Grouw) is a town in the province Fryslân of the Netherlands and had around 5655 citizens in January 2017. Since 2014 Grouw is part of the municipality of Leeuwarden.
 

The town is located on the Pikmeer lake and the Prinses Margriet kanaal. Heineken operated a distribution centre for Fryslân in Grou for 25 years until 2004.

It used to be the capital of the municipality of Idaarderadeel before the reorganization of municipalities in 1984, and capital of the municipality of Boarnsterhim until 2014.

 

Grou celebrates Sint-Piter as a holiday on February 21, which differs from most of the Netherlands
